Marc Yerquard signs off for now…
It’s time to thank Marc for his expert insights and suggestions over the past six months.
There was no doubting he ‘pinged the lids’ in the early stages with a phenomenal first couple of months, winners flowed freely. The inevitable dip came with a succession of frustrating short-head seconds, curtailing profits. With a short ‘Indian Summer’ in late June.
Unfortunately Marc had to take some time off due to ill health and with this in mind it’s been decided to give our Bruge-based boy a seasonal rest for the time being.
Notwithstanding all results were logged to SP (and better prices were often available on the winners), it can be considered a pretty fair effort, overall, to remain not too far off break even.
Totals for six months, February through to July:
Staked 50.00 pts Returns 46.67 pts P/L Loss 3.33pts
That’s a 6.67% loss on investments against a general over-round of 128%. It’s fair to say that Marc did Beat The Book!
