AND THE IN-FORM ‘SWIFT DEBBIE’ ALSO WINS AGAIN!

It looks like the art of winning races has been solved by MINEOLA PROF who has now won 5 of his last 9 outings! The May 2012 son of College Causeway was sent off the 6/4 favourite for the A4 at 9-07 and he took up the running at 1/2 way before staying on to beat the Wayne Wrighting trained Bellinter Rose by 3/4 of a length! Owned by Dave Staddon the ‘Prof’ clocked 30.51 (-20) 30.31 calculated when winning for the 6th time at Hove!
SWIFT DEBBIE was winning races for fun earlier in the year but then suffered injury and was off for most of July, August and November but since returning in December she has regained her winning form! When successful in the A6 at 8-34 last night the August 2010 daughter of Hometown Boy Nga was winning for the 2nd time in 3 runs! ‘Debbie’ is owned by Miss J. A. Maslin and she clocked 30.65 (-20) 30.45 calculated when leading all the way to beat the Derek Knight trained Hi Kina by a neck! Swift Debbie has now won 15 races at Hove!
How Our Other Runners Fared
Ballymac Benefit has been running well lately and was sent off the 7/4 joint favourite for the A7 at 8-18. Despite crowding she put up another good show when running on to be 2nd to the Claude Gardiner trained winner Gemini Dancer. Ballymac Benefit clocked 30.94 (-20) 30.74 calculated finishing a length and a half behind the winner.
Cellini was baulked and crowded in the A5 at 9-41 but still managed to grab 2nd place! It was a good effort and she was only one length behind the Jason Heath trained winner Ballytag Ella at the line. Cellini clocked 31.27 (-20) 31.07 calculated in the runners-up spot.
Abbeys Zenyatta was made the 5/4 favourite for the D2 Sprint at 9-51 and despite holding every chance she clocked 17.20 (-10) 17.10 calculated when finishing in 5th place almost three lengths behind the Paul Garland trained winner Valeria. Kennel mate Swift Messi, a winner last time, was baulked at the start and also on the run-in. ‘Lionel’ clocked 17.21 (-10) 17.11 calculated and was almost four lengths off the winner back in 6th place.
Cause Of Justice was beaten seven lengths in a decent A2 at 9-57. The Claude Gardiner trained winner Clairekeith Will (30.07 calc) clocking a very fast time! ‘Alfie’ clocked 30.83 (-20) 30.63 calculated finishing in 5th place.
Droopys Halo was always behind in the S2 Stayers at 10-13 and clocked 42.80 (-30) 42.50 calculated when finishing in 6th place just over seven lengths behind the Derek Knight trained winner Maui Lahaina.

Note: On Your Lonesome has been withdrawn from the D2 Sprint at 7-31.
Its some time since Classy Molly got her head in front and she suffered crowding on her last outing but there is always a chance she could spring a surprise in the D2 Sprint at 7-31.
Droopys Michigan completed the hat-trick when winning a Bags Track Championship Heat earlier this month. He’s up in grade for the A2 at 8-02 but should still run well.

Judicial Babe runs in the A6 at 11-28 and would have a good chance if getting a clear run!
Avit On Elsie gives away a lot of ground by running very wide. Connections will hope she can grab a decent lead in the A6 at 11-42 and then last home!
We have two runners in the A7 at 12-41. Blazing Swallow is very capable at this level winning six times in this grade! While kennel mate Garrison Madrid is looking for a first win!
Droopys Bertha will be looking to end a run of fifteen races without a win when she lines up in the A8 at 12-58. In contrast Sizzlers Big Boy has returned from injury in great form with a win and a second place on his last two runs!
Speak Out Lilly continues in superb form and is on a four-timer for the A5 at 1-12. Her three recent wins has taken her from A9 grade to A5.
