Sunday 30th November SITTINGBOURNE Report

Monleek Diamond didn’t get the clearest of runs in the Sittingbourne Maiden Open race at 6-28. She was bumped at the first bend and crowded at the 1/4 mark and second bend! Sent off the 20/1 outsider Monleek Diamond clocked 30.24 (-10) 30.14 calculated when finishing in 6th place beaten eight lengths by the David Lee trained winner Sugar Rush the 6/4 favourite.

Barnish Myway was well beaten in the Sittingbourne Hurdle Open race at 7-37. A 50/1 chance Barnish Myway faded from the second bend clocking 31.71 (Normal) behind the Ricky Holloway trained winner Con Te Partiro the 4/6 favourite.

Viscount Rambler finished 3rd in the Sittingbourne Super Standard at 8-11. Sent of a 4/1 chance he suffered crowding at the first bend and clocked 30.84 (Normal) when beaten just over ten lengths by the Darren Whitton trained winner Sunday Rain. Kennel mate Droopys Halo was a 20/1 shot and after a very slow break clocked 31.34 (Normal) in 6th place fifteen lengths behind the winner. Satellite Exile was the 7/4 favourite and finished 4th.

Cellini was slow away and bumped at half-way in the Sittingbourne Standard – (Division 2) Open race at 9-02. Our 33/1 chance clocked 29.86 (Normal) when finishing in 5th place nine lengths behind the Heather Dimmock trained winner Likeitalot the 1/3 favourite.

Princess Pati was slow away in the Sittingbourne Standard – (Division 1) Open race at 9-19 but ran on well to finish 3rd. The 10/1 chance clocked 29.58 (Normal) when beaten five lengths by the Anthony Collett trained winner Tintreach Willy. Glenvale Stevie was in 2nd place from the second bend to the run-in but faded in the closing stages finishing a head behind his kennel mate. A 6/1 shot ‘Stevie’ clocked 29.60 (Normal) in 4th place. The Carol Weatherall trained Wont Fall Behind was the 2/1 favourite for the race and finished in 5th place.
