DRAGON OVERLORD had a superb Derby run at Wimbledon earlier in the year reaching the Quarter-Finals where he clocked 28.99 calculated when finishing 4th beaten just over eight lengths by the Seamus Cahill trained winner Southfield Jock. The July 14 son of Tullymurry Act owned by Joe Yelding was back at Wimbledon for a £1,000 Puppy Open race on Derby Final night where he again produced his customary late run clocking 28.54 calculated when finishing 2nd beaten just two lengths by the talented Bockos Alfie who is trained by Patrick Janssens. He was back at Hove on the 9th June for the CORAL HOVE PUPPIES Open race over 515 metres and he stayed on well to beat the Wayne Wrighting trained Dusko Popov by a length! Clocking 30.23 (Normal) he was winning for the 2nd time at Hove and lined up for a CORAL SUSSEX CUP TRIAL STAKES Open race on the 16th June where he finished 2nd to the John Mullins trained winner Omega Kin. He clocked his fastest time at Hove, a very decent 30.17 (Normal), when running on well to finish in the runners-up spot just a length and a half behind the winner! Having enjoyed a months rest Dragon Overlord clocked 28.84 (Normal) in a solo Trial at Monmore on the 12th July and was an 11/4 chance for the LADBROKES 480 (DUPLICATED) Open race over 480 metres at 7-08. Despite holding every chance he clocked 29.13 (-30) 28.83 calculated when finishing in 6th place beaten just over ten lengths by the Darren Whitton trained winner Overcharge.
LENSON WALCOTT led to the run-in and clocked a superb 30.19 (Normal) when finishing 2nd beaten just a length by Banabane in A1 grade at Hove on the 2nd July. The August 13 son of Vans Escalade owned by Tony Mann has been unable to re-produce that excellent effort on his two latest runs! He finished 5th clocking 30.55 (Normal) when beaten two lengths by Dusko Popov in a very competitive A1 on the 9th July! ‘Theo’ was given a drop in grade for an A2 last Saturday but was slow away and baulked at the first bend! Sent off the 2/1 favourite he was always in rear and clocked 30.93 (Normal) when finishing 6th beaten eight lengths by Maireads Jett. Having his first look at Monmore ‘Theo’ was made a 12/1 chance for the LADBROKES 264 (DUPLICATED) Open race over 264 metres at 8-26 and although crowded at the first bend he did well to finish in 3rd place! Clocking 15.78 (-20) 15.58 calculated he was beaten just over five lengths by Cloncunny Ardera who is trained by Carla Hendy at Perry Barr.
HYNESS MILL clocked 30.67 calculated when finishing 3rd beaten three lengths by Kilmurry Luke in A3 grade on the 23rd June. The September 14 son of Droopys Jet owned by Joe Yelding was a 3/1 chance for an A3 on the 1st July where he led all the way to beat Happy Outlook by a head! Clocking a superb 30.27 calculated he opened his Hove account and was up in grade for an A2 on the 10th July! A 9/2 chance he showed good early pace and led from the 1/4 mark clocking 30.37 calculated when beating Ballymac Pod by 3/4 of a length! Hyness Mill clocked 28.62 (Normal) in a solo Trial at Monmore on the 12th July and was sent off a 10/1 chance for the LADBROKES 480 PUPPIES (DUPLICATED) Open race over 480 metres at 8-56. Despite holding every chance he clocked 28.89 (-10) 28.79 calculated when finishing in 4th place beaten eight lengths by the impressive winner Droopys Trapeze who is trained by Jimmy Wright at Newcastle.

BADMOONRISING found ‘trouble’ in running and clocked 16.73 calculated when finishing 4th beaten just over five lengths by Gingers Dream in the Download The Coral App Sprint Open race on the 23rd June. However the August 12 son of Ace Hi Rumble owned by Debbie Williams & Mick McCrory returned to winning ways when down in class for a D1 Sprint on the 2nd July! A 9/2 chance he was quick away and always led clocking 16.46 (Normal) when beating Parkers Lee just over four lengths! Badmoonrising was a 4/1 chance for a D1 Sprint on the 10th July where he showed good early pace! Crowded and forced to check at the first bend he clocked 16.63 calculated when finishing in 3rd place beaten three and a half lengths by Cumann Star. Badmoonrising was the 20/1 outsider for HEAT 1 of the CORAL SPRINT where a first two finish would have see him qualify for next Wednesday’s Final. Unfortunately he made a slow start and suffered crowding at the first bend! Baulked at the second bend he clocked 17.03 (-10) 16.93 calculated when finishing in 5th place beaten seven and a half lengths by Laughing Gravy who is trained by David Pruhs at Peterborough.

DROOPYS RIVES BALIBO RUBY
DROOPYS RIVES was 9/4 favourite for a D2 Sprint on the 1st July where he ran on well clocking 16.76 calculated when beating Aero Ignite just over a length! The July 13 son of Westmead Hawk followed up in D2 grade last Wednesday. Showing good early pace he led at the first bend and kept on strongly to beat kennel mate Tip Top Tara by a length! ‘River’ clocked 16.68 calculated when winning his 9th race at Hove and lines up for the D2 Sprint at 4-08 with BALIBO RUBY who clocked 16.74 (Normal) when beating Get On Pippa by almost three lengths in a D3 Sprint on the 1st July. The July 14 daughter of Razldazl Rioga owned by the Norah Mac Racing Ruby syndicate was up in grade for a D2 Sprint on the 10th July! A 6/1 shot she ran a great race and held every chance when clocking 16.55 calculated in 2nd place beaten just over a length by Cashontherun.
KILCOMMON suffered crowding at the second bend and clocked 31.00 (Normal) when finishing in 3rd place beaten two and a half lengths by Upanatem in A8 grade on the 2nd July. The in-form August 13 son of Vans Escalade made it 3 wins from his last 5 outings when winning an A8 last Thursday. A 7/2 chance he soon led and kept on well to beat Dualla Flyers by 3/4 of a length! Kilcommon clocked 30.99 calculated when winning his 8th race at Hove and is up in grade for the A7 at 4-47.

GLENVALE STEVIE INDEPENDENT JACK
GLENVALE STEVIE was beaten just over six lengths by Spiderman when 4th in a D1 Sprint on the 8th July. The November 11 son of Paddys Flame was back in winning ways with success in a D1 Sprint last Thursday! Sent off the 7/1 outsider he raced prominent and although headed at the second bend he challenged on the run-in to beat Forest Fuseler by 3/4 of a length! ‘Stevie’ clocked 16.60 calculated when winning his 16th race at Hove and lines up for the D1 Sprint along with INDEPENDENT JACK beat Allianz Park just over a length in a D1 Sprint on the 17th June! Clocking 16.43 calculated ‘Jack’ was winning his 8th race at Hove and was a 5/1 chance for a D1 Sprint on the 6th July. Sadly he found trouble at the first bend and clocked 16.72 (Normal) when finishing 6th beaten four and a half lengths by Solid Fairy. The August 13 son of Kinloch Brae owned by the Norah Mac Racing Club held every chance in a D1 Sprint last Friday clocking 16.69 (Normal) when finishing in 4th place beaten just over two lengths by Mongys Dawn.

ROCKMOUNT KATIE
ROCKMOUNT KATIE held every chance in A10 grade on the 7th July where she clocked 31.16 (Normal) when finishing 4th beaten three lengths by Clairekeith Rico. The April 14 daughter of Blackstone Gene owned by the Norah Mac Racing Club was a 3/1 fancy for an A10 last Sunday but she was knocked wide at the first bend and finished in 4th place clocking 31.84 calculated when beaten just over four lengths by Mairead Blue. ‘Katie’ runs in the A10 at 5-38.
RACENIGHT TRISH was back in winning form in A6 grade on the 13th July! Despite a slow start she led at the fourth bend and clocked 30.53 calculated when beating Cutters Impact by just over five lengths! The February 13 daughter of Head Bound was winning her 7th race at Hove and was up in grade for an A5 last Saturday. A 7/2 chance she ran on well after making a slow start and clocked 30.79 (Normal) when finishing 3rd beaten four and a half lengths by Droopys Noble and she runs in the A5 at 6-11.
