Fit and raring to go, the club’s new aquisitions both take their chance on Saturday in graded events at Wimbledon.

Wendy (Hanover Lady) runs in the 7.45, an A5, from trap two, whilst Oscar (Lima Oscar) runs in ‘stripes’ in the 9.45, an A4.

Both are seeking to follow up their victories last Saturday at the Plough Lane track.

Update

Wendy (Hanover Lady) is napped in the papers and is forecast 11-8 favourite for her race. A reasonable break by her recent standards should see her in front at the bend and it’s a fairly weak heat with trouble likely behind.

It’s also a trophy race, so fingers crossed we will all be meeting on the podium at about 7.48pm!

Oscar (Lima Oscar) is also in with a decent shout later.

Good luck to kennel representatives, Droopys Bounce and French Blue who take their chance in the heats of the Puppy Derby also on the card at Wimbledon tonight.
