NO WINNERS TODAY BUT ‘COOLSCART HAWK’ AND ‘CELLINI’ GO CLOSE!

Friday 16th May HOVE Report

Cellini is in good form this year and was unlucky not to win the A4 at 12-42. She led all the way after a 4.17 split but was caught on the line by the Wayne Wrighting trained Woodmancote Kidd. Cellini clocked 30.48 (-20) 30.28 calculated just a short head behind the winner in 2nd place!

Coolscart Hawk is finding his form again after injury and he ran well in the A7 at 11-57. The ‘Hawk’ clocked 30.92 (-20) 30.72 calculated in 2nd place. The Racing Clubs Horse Outside was slow away and crowded at the third bend. ‘Gino’ clocked 31.39 (-20) 31.19 calculated in 4th place just under seven lengths behind the winner.

The Racing Clubs Droopys Leonard fared better than his club-mate in his race, the A5 at 12-58, when he finished 3rd beaten one and a half lengths by Designed Black who is trained by Seamus Cahill. ‘Lenny’ was sent off the 3/1 Co-Favourite of three and clocked 30.64 (-20) 30.44 calculated after a 4.11 split!

She finally finished in 4th place clocking 30.87 (-10) 30.77 calculated two and a half lengths behind the winner Fivestar Vixen who is trained by Jason Heath.

Sizzlers Magpie was a 14/1 shot for the D1 sprint at 11-11. She was returning from injury so the run will bring her on. She was baulked at the first bend and crowded at the second before finishing 6th just over six lengths behind the Paul Garland trained winner Invicta Snapper.
