NO KENNEL WINNERS ON THURSDAY OR FRIDAY!

Thursday 3rd July HOVE Report

Coolscart Hawk was quick away in the A6 at 7-31 but didn’t have the pace to lead at the first bend. He held every chance but had to settle for 5th place four lengths behind the Maria Collins trained winner Our Swift Girl. Coolscart Hawk clocked 30.84 (-10) 30.74 calculated.

Droopys Margaret was tipped up by Phil Donaldson on Racing Post Greyhound TV and she almost proved to be a nice 5/1 choice for Phil as she led into the home straight! But she was caught in the last strides by the staying on River Trail who is trained by Wayne Wrighting. Droopys Margaret clocked 30.71 (-10) 30.61 calculated in the A4 at 7-46 beaten just 1/2 a length by the winner!

Monleek Diamond was baulked at the first bend when sitting handy in the Coral.Co.UK Maiden Sprint Open Race at 8-02. You cannot afford any hold ups in sprints and Monleek Diamond was shuffled back to finish 6th clocking 16.92 (-5) 16.87 calculated just over five lengths behind Rizzoli Bert who is trained by Jason Heath.
