On to 25th November…

Bold shows by the club runners last week, and wins for Lenny (Droopys Leonard) on Wednesday and a fine trophy-winning performance from Wendy (Hanover Lady) on Saturday.
There were plenty of members on hand to duly congratulate Wendy who won as a short priced favourite should, leading her field a merry dance from start to finish.
On the Racing Post TV card on Thursday, Leah (Memories Leah) put in a fine display against the very highly rated Islas Scolari. Leah continues her education.

An early notification of a diary date for the Brighton Owners Association Dinner and Awards Night. This will be on Friday, March 1st 2013.
The Wimbledon version was always well attended by Norahmac crew and, hopefully, we can support the Nevill Road version.
It’s smart dress, live music, magician, awards and dinner – apparently Corals offer a free drink in the mix too. The event is likely to be around £25 per person. Further details to follow once Christmas festivities are concluded.

Proceedings kick of in style providing an opportunity for the perfect patent (bet) this Wednesday with a trio of club reps out on the sands.
At 3.48pm it’s an A7 so that can only mean Oscar (Lima Oscar). Again in stripes and seeking to maintain his consistent record of podium placings.
It’s top class action at 4.27pm with Leah (Memories Leah) contesting an A2. Roseville Maeve, a useful kennel-mate berthed to her right, in four, may spoil the party. Fingers crossed for a safe round for all concerned.
Horse Outside gets a quick recall out of trap one in the A4 at 5.07. A shade disappointing at the weekend, Horse faces some speedy types in this heat. He’ll need to keep sight of the bunny in a contest that will bring his staying powers to the fore if he can keep tabs early doors.
Thursday’s Racing Post TV card is mixed with Wendy ( Hanover Lady) in the Sprint Open at 9.40pm. Our recent winner will need to be at her sharpest to get in the money in what is a very hot heat. Fingers crossed.
Lenny (Droopys Leonard) competes in the closing event on Saturday’s card, the A3 at 10.30pm. Our August ’10 lad is doing fair clocks at the moment but faces a stiff task at this level of competition. Fingers crossed.
And to complete proceedings in a busy week for club runners, Horse Outside takes a trip to Kent to contest the 6.28pm at Sittingbourne, the 500m Open. Horse is in good form and has had a look at the Central Park sands. If he can keep his position in the early stages he’d be a decent each way poke in the contest.
