Racing Clubs ‘Molly’ A ‘Classy’ Act Now!
NORAH MAC RACING CLUB JUST EIGHT WINS SHORT FOR THE HUNDRED!
Classy Molly moved the Racing Club on to the 92 winner mark when winning the A6 at Hove today! Classy Molly is in great form and has now won four of her last six races!
Friday 23rd May HOVE Report (All Races Going: Normal)
Winner
CLASSY MOLLY showed early pace and disputed the lead throughout when winning the A6 at 11-42. The September 2011 daughter of Duke Special held off the running on Dacent Vieri by 1/2 a length clocking 30.70 sec. Owned by the Norah Mac Racing Club ‘Molly’ has now won 11 races for the Club.
How Our Other Runners Fared
Our runners continue in fair form and there was one or two hard luck stories as Causeiloveyou only failed by a neck to peg back the Dean Childs trained Tyrur Blanche in the A5 at 11-28. Quick away Causeiloveyou challenged the winner on the run-in and clocked 30.59 in 2nd place. Kennel mate Ballymac Benefit had every chance but faded into 6th place clocking 30.94 just under five lengths behind the winner.
Farloe Scolari had been off the track a fair while but ran very well on his comeback. He held every chance in the D2 sprint at 11-11 when 2nd, beaten just over two lengths, by the Claude Gardiner trained winner Riverside Fire. Farloe Scolari clocked 16.74 while his kennel mate Sizzlers Magpie clocked 17.16 when finishing 5th seven lengths behind the winner after being badly baulked at 1/2 way.
Swift Messi is a ‘forecast’ cert these days as he’s rarely out the first two! The veteran ran another gutsy race when 2nd in the A6 at 12-42. He held every chance when beaten just under two lengths by the Seamus Cahill trained Guinness Stevie clocking 30.51 sec.
Droopys Margaret was beaten a short head when 2nd in the A4 at 1-27. She showed early pace and led from the first bend to near the line clocking 30.29 when going down by the shortest margin to the Ken Tester trained winner Ardbeg Blitz.
The Racing Club had two other chances of success today and both runners ran well. Longrange Denis was only beaten a length when 3rd in the A3 at 1-44. He was baulked when challenging at the third bend and clocked 30.44 behind the Dean Childs trained winner Barnyard Cian.
Droopys Leonard showed early pace out wide in the A5 at 1-12 and clocked 30.54 when finishing 3rd, four and a half lengths, behind the impressive winner Feora Lark (30.18) who is trained by Ken Tester.
Avit On Elsie showed her early pace and soon led in the A11 at 11-57. She took them along to the fourth bend before fading into 5th place clocking 31.53 around five lengths behind the Dean Childs trained winner Inter Cooler.
Glenvale Paddy blew his chance with a slow break in the A8 at 1-58. ‘Paddy’ clocked 30.94 when beaten just under four lengths in 6th place by the Derek Knight trained winner Questhouse Molly.
