… the Royal shenanigans on Friday (29th), instead checking out the well-being of our beloved charges!

Gary ‘mad dog’ Maunders reports:

While the nation sat glued to their tv’s yesterday, watching the Royal Wedding. Norah, Gemma and Kate were working tirelessly in the kennels to prepare the weekend runners for our pleasure!

Floyd Williams and myself spent the morning at the kennels walking our own dogs and the club dogs alike. Floyd even had the honour of walking SIZZLERS SPIRIT.

The good news for the club is HORSE OUTSIDE (GINO). We walked him on a long lead and he never coughed once! The other thing we noticed about him was that he was very bouncy and lively! In the past he has walked very calm and quietly. He seemed a different dog! He may have been carrying this bug for some time as a lot of people have commented that they had heard him cough a few times weeks ago! I think there is plenty more to come from this little fella! Norah said he will finish his medication before resuming his career.

Norah also confirmed that BLACK ACE MAC (RUMBLE) and FLEETWOOD MAC (WOODY) would trial early next week at either Romford, Sittingbourne or indeed Wimbledon!
Kennel News

One other piece of good news for the kennel is the return of COOLAVANNY ROCK who is booked for a sprint trial at Wimbledon next Wednesday. Rocky has been out with a ligament injury he picked up at Swindon on 23rd Feb. Norah said he has had plenty of gallops and his legs are fine.
