Well lol as they say in text parlance as Gino (Horse Outside) suffers a three grade hike for his first win in the UK, and first at Wimbledon. Oh well c’est la vie.
So Gino faces A3 competition on Saturday in the 8.45pm. It’s an interesting make up as the contest principally involves two kennel mates and two other fast improving newcomers from the well thought of Crash – Olygirl litter.
Gino’s kennel mates are Cloheena Star, who has been competing in A1’s earlier this year, and Droopys Genesis who tends to need to lead but possesses plenty of ability. The Crash pups both have shown improvement in their few runs and will provide stiff opposition.
Wendy (Hanover Lady) returns from a week-end off in the 9.45pm on Friday – an A3 contest too. She has a decent draw from the red box in a seemingly wide open race.
It’s pleasing to report an Open race double for the kennel on Wednesday night at Romford. Though neither races were covered they were part of a Sky race night and each race boasted £500 first prize for; Pigalle Star – who will be five next month – and kennel stalwart Coolavanny Rock who is now right back to his best form.
The deposit for the Big Night Out will be paid on Saturday night so anyone yet to commit ought to contact a co-ordinator, preferably Debbie, or Norah asap. After this Saturday, seats may well be available but they cannot be guaranteed to be with the main party and, I understand, restaurant spaces for that night are now relatively few. We have over one hundred deposits so far – a great turn out.
