WINNER

PALACE PRINCESS  –  4 wins at Hove!

PALACE PRINCESS won a D3 Sprint in April before completing a quick Hove ‘double’ once stepped up to 515 metres in May! After enjoying wins over Bonesys Aoife (A7) and Fabulous Memory (A5) the May 15 daughter of Godsend soon found herself racing in A3 grade! Finishing 5th she was beaten six and a half lengths by Castlemary Ruby on the 9th June and was given a drop in grade for the A4 at 9-24 last night. Sent off the 2/1 favourite she was soon in rear after suffering crowding at the 1st bend! But running on well she made her challenge on the run-in and although marked as ‘awkward’ she got up to beat her kennel mate Mannix Apache by a short-head! Owned by the Nineteen Syndicate Palace Princess clocked 30.49 (Normal) when winning her 4th race at Hove! MANNIX APACHE  was a 5/2 chance and the September 15 son of Scolari Me Daddy was quick away and led to the run-in! Clocking 30.50 (Normal) he finished in 2nd place just a short-head behind the winner giving the kennel a notable one-two!

INDEPENDENT JACK was a 3/1 chance for the D1 Sprint at 7-46 but the August 13 son of Kinloch Brae owned by the Norah Mac Racing Club was slow away and finishing in 3rd place he clocked 16.57 (Normal) when beaten just over three lengths by Glencroft Rumble who is trained by Seamus Cahill.

TIMBERLEE LAD was a 5/1 shot for the D2 Sprint at 8-34 but the April 14 son of Blackstone Gene held every chance clocking 16.93 (Normal) when finishing in 3rd place beaten just 3/4 of a length by Elijahs Dream who is trained by Doreen Walsh.

MARCH ON MAX was a 9/2 chance for the S1 at 9-07 where the October 13 son of Tullymurry Act was quick away and led to the 5th bend! Tiring late on he clocked 42.20 (Normal) when finishing in 2nd place beaten just under seven lengths by Seamus Cahill trained winner Who Needs Charity.

ASSERT beat Julius Tallulah by 3/4 of a length on Wednesday and the July 14 son of Skywalker Ace was put up in grade for the A8 at 9-41. Despite being baulked at the 1st bend the 5/1 chance ran on well to finish in 2nd place clocking 30.66 (Normal) when beaten just over two lengths by Dower Ebony who is trained by Ken Tester.

DROOPYS BLOOM was a 6/1 shot for the A10 at 10-13 but the September 15 daughter of Tullymurry Act was very slow away and after suffering crowding on the run-in she clocked 31.33 (+10) 31.43 calculated when finishing in 3rd place beaten nine lengths by Rabbits Precious who is trained by Doreen Walsh. Kennel mate SIZZLERS IVORY was a 5/1 chance but the January 15 daughter of Farloe Barracuda never recovered after being badly baulked at the 1st bend and clocking 31.91 (+10) 32.01 calculated ‘Simba’ finished in 6th place beaten around sixteen lengths by the winner.
