Lobelia ran well in the A8 at 7-31. She made a good break and led from the first bend to the third! She kept on well to hold 2nd place finishing behind the Jason Heath trained winner Tomsgonewest. A 6/1 chance Lobelia clocked 31.10 (-20) 30.90 calculated just under four lengths behind the winner.

Droopys Rives missed his break when finishing 2nd in a Sprint Maiden Open at Hove last Thursday and young ‘River’ did the same in Heat 1 of the Coral Thursday Maiden 475 Open race at 8-02 last night! He recovered well after his slow start and showed good pace down the back straight and closed up on the leaders but eased when crowded at the third bend. Droopys Rives clocked 28.51 (-20) 28.31 calculated finishing in 4th place nine lengths behind the winner Brookside Queen who is trained by David Mullins.

Droopys Tomford opened his account for the Norah Mac Racing Club when winning a D2 Sprint last Friday! Stepping up in trip and running in Open class for the first time the young September 13 pup showed real promise in Heat 3 of the Coral Thursday Maiden 475 Open race at 8-34 despite having a troubled run! He clashed with the Jason Foster trained runner Grey Pride at the first bend and dropped to last place! A good seven lengths off the pace he stayed on strongly to finish in 4th place beaten just two lengths! ‘Rolo’ was sent off a 5/2 chance and clocked 28.43 (-20) 28.23 calculated behind the Barry O’Sullivan trained winner Carrowkeal Jose.

Lochys Blue Boy put up a good effort against the impressive Who Needs Pace (2/7 fav) in the Gala Coral Sprint Open race at 9-24. Lochys Blue Boy was quick away and led to 1/2 way where he was passed by the Seamus Cahill trained runner who ran on well for an easy win. Lochys Blue Boy clocked 16.60 (-10) 16.50 calculated in 2nd place just under four lengths behind the winner.

We have two runners lining up for the D2 Sprint at 2-22. Watch Matt ran a cracker when a neck 2nd in an Owners Bonus Series Final last week and kennel mate Fanore Breeze makes her return from seasonal rest.
A close up 2nd on his last two runs Release The Ace should again go well in the A6 at 2-37.
Glenvale Stevie is running well but faces the in-form How Zat and a couple of improving youngsters in the D1 Sprint at 2-52.
Listry Ace ran well on her Hove debut when beaten just a neck in this grade. The rails draw should help in the A9 at 3-32.

Grisedale Girl makes her Hove debut in the D1 Sprint at 7-31. The youngster did a fair trial on Monday but faces a difficult task put straight into D1 grade!
Speak Out Lilly has finished behind in her last two races but she is not running badly and could go well in the A6 at 9-07 if getting a clear run!
Mineola Prof was badly baulked on his last outing but was in top form previous to that run with wins in A4 and A3 grade. He should run well in the A2 at 9-24.

Swift Messi – loves his racing!
Swift Messi suffered crowding on his latest run but the veteran will be trying his best in the D2 Sprint at 11-11.
Windy Warrior has been sent off favourite on his last three runs but has failed to win on each occasion! He will be looking to get back to winning ways in the A9 at 11-28.
On his best form Sizzlers Big Boy would have a chance in the A8 Owners Bonus Series – Heat 2 but a first three finish would be enough to qualify for the Final on Saturday 21st March!
Viscount Rambler is entered in the D1 Sprint at 12-41 but is more likely to run at Sittingbourne Sunday evening.
Ballymac Dainty – returns from injury!
We have two kennel runners in the D2 Sprint at 1-12 and both are returning after injury. Ballymac Dainty returns after a four month lay-off and kennel mate Sizzlers Swallow returns after two months out.
