SATURDAY HOVE REPORT

Saturday 31st March 2018  –  HOVE Report

Sent off the 7/4 favourite for the D2 Sprint at 6-27 FANORE FLYER was badly baulked at the 1st bend! Clocking 17.15 (-10) 17.05 calculated he finished in 5th place beaten three and a half lengths by Get On Brig.

JEDS WIZARD held every chance in the A4 at 8-21 and clocking a decent 30.53 (-20) 30.33 calculated he finished in 2nd place beaten two lengths by Punk Rock Magoo.

Slow away in the A8 at 8-37 FRONT STEP ran on well to finish in 2nd place clocking 30.95 (-20) 30.75 calculated when beaten two and a half lengths by Mallogs Ali.

HYNESS MILL had every chance in the D2 Sprint at 9-43 but clocking 17.16 (-10) 17.06 calculated he finished in 4th place beaten just over four lengths by Ardbeg Bella. Kennel mate SIZZLERS THUNDER showed good early pace but was baulked at the 1st bend. Finishing in 5th place he clocked 17.25 (-10) 17.15 calculated when beaten five and a half lengths by the winner.

SIZZLERS IVORY was withdrawn (lame) from the D3 Sprint at 8-06 and was a non-runner. There was further woe for kennel and connections as BARBARA ANN who was making her Hove debut checked at the 1st bend and finished the race lame.

OXTED FLYER checked badly at the 2nd bend and he too finished lame in the A6 at 7-49.

All three dogs are being checked over at the kennels this morning!
