CAUSEILOVEYOU WINS THE ‘LUCKY LAST’ FOR TEAM MAC!

Wednesday 2nd July HOVE Report      Going:  +10  all races

CAUSEILOVEYOU was the kennels only winner at Hove today! The July 2012 son of College Causeway popped up to win the last race just when it looked like we were going home empty handed! Causeiloveyou clocked his fastest time when winning the A4 at 6-11 beating the Derek Knight trained Maireads Secure by a neck! Owned by Mr P. G. Tomlin and Mrs S. S. Tomlin he showed good early pace and led all the way clocking 30.21 = 30.31 calculated when winning for the second time at Hove.

How Our Other Runners Fared 

Zara Two was a non-runner in the D1 at 2-08.

Westmead Louisa was crowded at the first bend in the A11 at 2-27 and clocked 31.18 = 31.28 calculated when beaten five and a half lengths by the Doreen Walsh trained winner Ballydorgan Rose. She finished 4th while kennel mate Avit On Elsie clocked 31.25 = 31.35 calculated, after racing very wide, and finished in 6th place another length behind ‘Louisa’.

Princess Pati was crowded and checked middle at the first bend in the A2 at 2-47. She was beaten one and three quarter lengths by the winner I Love You who is trained by Derek Knight. ‘Pati’ clocked 30.15 = 30.25 calculated in 3rd place.

Swift Messi is back in form and was always handy in the A6 at 3-07. He clocked 30.37 = 30.47 when finishing 3rd beaten one and three quarter lengths by the Dean Childs trained winner Romeo Duty Bound.

Baby Sky returned to the track today having last raced in January! She found herself in a spot of bother during the A3 at 4-08 and was baulked at the first bend and the third! Baby Sky clocked 30.92 = 31.02 calculated when finishing 6th beaten nine lengths by the Derek Knight trained winner Questhouse Aura.

The Racing Club members hopes for a 95th winner today were erased at the first bend as Classy Molly suffered crowding in the A5 at 4-27. ‘Molly’ clocked 30.63 = 30.73 calculated when beaten four and three quarter lengths by the Ken Tester trained Maglass Loch.

Glenvale Paddy held every chance when beaten four lengths by Newtown Skip Up, trained by Paul Garland, in the A7 at 4-47. ‘Paddy’ clocked 30.71 = 30.81 calculated.

A slow break possibly cost Graiguenoe Royal a win today in the A7 at 5-22. Sent off the 3/1 joint favourite he was slow away and clocked 30.40 = 30.50 calculated when finishing 3rd just over one length behind Berkshire Donny who is trained by Maria Collins.

Release The Ace ran well to finish 3rd in the A8 at 5-56 beaten just over 1/2 a length! He was crowded on the run-up and clocked 30.69 = 30.79 calculated when beaten by the Seamus Cahill trained winner Julius George.

Thursday 3rd July HOVE Runners

Coolscart Hawk was beaten on his latest run but had won his previous two races! He gets a drop in grade for a T.V. appearance at 7-31 (A6) that should see him involved in the finish.

A repeat of her win on the 23rd April would see Droopys Margaret go close in the A4 at 7-46. She has been a little in and out lately but was not beaten far on her latest run!

Monleek Diamond runs in an interesting little Sprint Maiden Open race at 8-02. Rizzoli Bert clocked a fast time over this trip in a trial the backend of April but Monleek Diamond does have good early pace and may get a run on her rivals. If there is trouble in behind she may just take some catching!

Friday 4th July HOVE Runners

Sizzlers Magpie has been narrowly beaten on her last four runs where she has been 2nd in each! Running well and should go close in the D2 sprint at 11-11.

Droopys Winnie won twice in May and will need to raise her game for the A5 at 11-28.

Droopys Halo runs in the A7 at 11-42 but is still finding her race fitness after returning from seasonal rest!

Fine Royal keeps knocking on the door and that elusive first win cannot be far off! Maybe the A6 at 11-57.

Coolavanny Keira is up in grade for her latest win and runs in the A10 at 12-12.

River Echo was slow away on his debut while On Your Lonesome ran a better race of late on his last outing! Both line up for the D2 at 12-42.

Slow starts have cost Sizzlers Big Boy recently but he does stay on well. Needs to be handy in the A7 at 1-27.

Sporting Tracey is a very consistent performer who will be there abouts in the A2 at 1-44.
