‘Seventh’ Hove Win For “Cause Of Justice”
CAUSE OF JUSTICE GETS THE VERDICT IN A THRILLING PHOTO – FINISH!
Friday Hove Report
Winner
CAUSE OF JUSTICE has proved a proper little money spinner for his connections and was winning for the seventh time when getting up to mug Droopys Johnny on the line! The Jan 2012 son of College Causeway, bred by Noreen Power & Colin Mead, challenged from the 3/4 mark to win the A3 at 12-12 by a head clocking the fastest time of the day! 30.39 (-20) 30.19 calculated. The rank outsider owned by the Jury Of Ten syndicate was sent off at odds of 10/1.
How Our Other Runners Fared
The Norah Mac Racing Club was double handed in the A4 at 12-27 after Ferdia Oscar replaced his kennel mate Graiguenoe Royal overnight. Droopys Leonard was sent off the 9/4 favourite and was quick away racing wide and disputing the lead with his club mate Ferdia Oscar who was also quick away. Sadly the pair were overhauled on the line by Seabourne Caviar who stayed on well. Ferdia Oscar held on for 2nd place a neck behind the winner clocking 30.83 (-20) 30.63 calculated. ‘Lenny’ was a further 1/2 a length away in 3rd clocking 30.85 (-20) 30.65 calculated.
Princess Jetta was unable to dominate in the A7 at 11-57 and she was crowded at the first bend and again at the 3/4 mark. Beaten over five lengths she clocked 31.27 (-20) 31.07 calculated back in 6th place.
Judicial Babe was beaten a head on her latest run and put up another good showing today in the A9 at 12-58. This time she was beaten under a length in 3rd place clocking 31.09 (-20) 30.89 calculated after holding every chance.
