SHOEMAKER BILLY had won two races at Towcester and two races at Monmore before joining the Norah Mac kennel. Wasting little time the September 16 son of Vans Escalade got off the mark at Hove on only his second attempt! An 8/1 chance for the D3 Sprint at 1-22 he showed good early pace and led on the run up! Caught close to home he dead-heated for 1st place with the Ken Tester trained Punkrock Swindle. Owned by Mr A. Brien ‘Shoemaker Billy’ clocked 16.88 (-10) 16.78 calculated when winning for the 1st time at Hove!

Our Runners Who Made The Frame

On his Hove debut MINEOLA HARDY was a 7/1 shot for the A3 at 10-36. Gaining a clear run he finished in 2nd place clocking 30.06 (-30) 29.76 calculated when beaten just a length by Britania Alice.

MINEOLA ELEGANT was made 9/4 favourite for the A2 at 12-06 where she led from the 1/4 mark to near the line! Clocking 29.97 (-30) 29.67 calculated she finished in 2nd place beaten just over a length by Punk Rock Mutley.

A 3/1 chance for the A4 at 12-54 BOHERASH ANGEL suffered crowding at the 1st bend! Finishing in 2nd place she clocked 30.23 (-20) 30.03 calculated when beaten just over a length by Skyline Optimum.

POWER MARY showed good early pace and led from the 1st to the 2nd bend in the A8 at 1-07. Clocking 30.92 (-20) 30.72 calculated our 5/1 shot finished in 3rd place beaten just over eleven lengths by Feora Tyson. Kennel mate SUMMERVILLE BOY was a further three lengths away in 4th place.

Sent off a 3/1 chance for the A4 at 1-57 LAUGHIL KATE was quick away and led to the 3rd bend! Crowded on the run-in she finished in 3rd place clocking 30.34 (-20) 30.14 calculated when beaten a length and a half by Ardrahan Maybe.
