SIZZLERS EAGLE made it 7 wins from 12 runs when winning the DOWNLOAD THE CORAL APP SPRINT Open in decisive fashion at Hove last night! The April 2013 son of Timor Blue led at 1/2 way despite making a slow start and he ran on strongly winning his third Open race! This promising pup is owned by Dave and Joy Cook and he clocked a very decent 16.52 (-15) 16.37 calculated when beating the Paul Clarke trained Castlegore Jet by three and a half lengths! Kennel mate Glenvale Stevie has been in good form since returning from injury and he did well finishing in 3rd place. ‘Stevie’ was baulked at the first bend but ran on well clocking 16.81 (-15) 16.66 calculated four lengths behind the winner.
How Our Other Runners Fared
Princess Pati was crowded at the first bend in the A3 at 7-31 and was beaten five and a half lengths by the Claude Gardiner trained winner Priceless Sand. ‘Pati’ clocked 30.92 (-30) 30.62 calculated finishing in 5th place.
Mineola Prof was a little hard done by when baulked at the first bend and again at the third as he tried to make his effort in the A2 at 7-46. He tried hard but was finally beaten three lengths by the Wayne Wrighting trained winner Castleview Jake. Mineola Prof clocked 30.70 (-30) 30.40 calculated in 5th place.

The Ken Tester trained Anto Markos Rose was all the rage for the OWNERS BONUS SERIES – FINAL but supporters of the 0dds on 4/5 favourite were given a real fright by the superb run of 8/1 chance Watch Matt who very nearly pulled off a shock result! Watch Matt had blasted from the traps and led to the run-in but he was caught very close to home by the running on Anto Markos Rose who got up to win by a Neck! Watch Matt clocked 17.01 (-15) 16.86 calculated in the runners-up spot. The Seamus Cahill trained Guinness Master finished in 3rd place.

Droopys Rives has made a very promising start to his career! The July 13 son of Westmead Hawk has won two D1 Sprints and was sent off the 6/4 favourite stepping up to Open class for the first time! Just when he needed a flyer he badly missed his break in the HOVE MAIDEN SPRINT but running on well he finished in 2nd place to the Seamus Cahill trained winner Geneva Des who took his chance well. ‘River’ clocked 16.74 (-15) 16.59 calculated just under two lengths behind the winner.

Droopys Tomford – Rolo looking for his first win!
There is not much to chose between Fairhill Frankie and the Norah Mac Racing Clubs Droopys Tomford on times. Both line up for the D2 Sprint at 2-08.
Shyan Zippy was beaten just over one length on her latest outing and judged on that she could get competitive in the A9 at 2-27.
Avit On Beryl found a whole load of trouble on her latest run. She would have every chance in the A7 at 3-07 if getting a clear run!
On Your Lonesome, who has competed in over a 100 races, and the lightly raced Sizzlers Magpie line up in a tightly graded D2 Sprint at 4-27.
Classy Molly – Ran well latest run!
The Racing Clubs Classy Molly was a 10/1 chance on her latest run but she put up an improved performance and was beaten less than a length! Club Members will be hoping she can get back to winning ways in the A9 at 5-38.
Speak Out Lilly was a beaten favourite last time finishing in 2nd place. If running up to her best form she would go close in the A6 at 6-11.
