‘Sizzlers Hawk’ Into Coral Sprint Final!

SIZZLERS HAWK has been in great form lately enjoying wins over Stellars Avenger and Droopys Zigzag on his last two runs! The July 14 son of Vans Escalade was sent off a 3/1 chance for Heat 2 of the CORAL SPRINT Open competition and by finishing in 3rd place he qualified for the Final which will be run on Sussex Cup Final night Thursday 3rd August! Owned by Dave & Joy Cook Sizzlers Hawk suffered crowding at the 1st bend but he recovered to clock 16.57 (Normal) when beaten four lengths by the Heather Dimmock trained winner Blackstone Levi.
DROMANA HERO opened his Hove account when beating Wheres Oscar by almost five lengths on his ‘Nevill Road’ debut but the ex-Crayford racer was sent off the 20/1 outsider for Heat 1 of the CORAL SPRINT Open competition! Crowded at the 1st bend and always behind the October 14 son of Mall Brandy owned by John Eagle and Danny Grover clocked 16.70 (Normal) when finishing in 6th place beaten six and a half lengths by Walk The Talk who is trained by Patrick Janssens.
DROOPYS ELMA clocked a very decent 30.28 calculated when beaten just a ‘head’ by Dinner Thetruth last Sunday and the February 15 daughter of Mall Brandy owned by Norah McEllistrim was a 10/1 shot for Heat 1 of the CORAL LADIES TROPHY Open Competition. Baulked at the 1st bend and finishing in 5th place she clocked 30.53 (Normal) when beaten four and a half lengths by the Carol Weatherall trained winner Greenhill Gem.
SIZZLERS GUNBOAT held every chance when finishing 4th beaten just over two lengths by Cuties Bullet on his latest run and the September 15 son of Mall Brandy owned by Dave & Joy Cook was sent off the 3/1 joint-favourite for the A6 at 6-28. Quick away he led to the run-in but clocking 30.59 (Normal) he had to settle for 2nd place after being caught and beaten two lengths by the strong finishing Romeo Marshal who is trained by Jason Heath.
