WINNERS
SUMMERVILLE KATE had finished in rear in all five of her races at Hove! The July 15 daughter of Forest Master was 5th on her first two outings in March and she has finished 6th in her three runs since returning from seasonal rest in July! Beaten just over six lengths by Ballybough Jamie on her latest run she was a 7/1 shot for the D3 Sprint at 9-24. Leading on the run-in she got up to beat the Seamus Cahill trained Wheres Jake by a neck! Owned by John Holland Summerville Kate clocked 17.01 (-15) 16.86 calculated when winning her 1st race at Hove! Kennel mate SUMMERVILLE BOY, also owned by John Holland, was making his Hove debut and the January 16 son of Taylors Sky was sent off a 7/2 fancy. Holding every chance he finished in 3rd place clocking 17.28 (-15) 17.13 calculated when beaten three lengths by the winner.

A 5th HOVE WIN FOR ‘FOREVER MICK’
FOREVER MICK – On the mark for Karen & Mick!
FOREVER MICK suffered crowding when finishing in 3rd place beaten three lengths by Westmead Winston on the 7th July. But freshened up by a two week break the June 15 son of Tullymurry Act bounced back to winning ways in the A6 at 7-46. Sent off a 7/2 chance ‘Micky’ showed good early pace and leading all the way he beat the Paul Garland trained Castlemary Rebel by just over a length! Owned by Karen Browne and Mick Browne Forever Mick clocked 31.16 (-40) 30.76 calculated when for the 5th time at Hove!

How Our Other Runners Fared
SISTERS SECRET was a 6/1 chance for the A2 at 8-02 but sadly the April 15 son of Kinloch Brae was baulked at the 1st bend! Clocking 30.99 (-30) 30.69 calculated ‘Malcolm’ finished in 4th place beaten just over nine lengths by the Richard Rees trained winner Free Passage.
Two newcomers made their Hove debuts in the D3 Sprint at 8-18. DERRYADD MARLEY had been runner-up in two of her four races in Ireland and August 15 daughter of Zero Ten was made a 5/1 chance. Slow away she clocked 17.13 (-15) 16.98 calculated when finishing in 4th place beaten just a length and a half by Postman Mac who is trained by Jason Heath. BALLYSTEEN SKY was a 10/1 shot but the January 16 son of Taylors Sky was ‘left’ when the traps opened! Clocking 17.59 (-15) 17.44 calculated he finished in 6th place beaten just over seven lengths by the winner.
TIMBERLEE LASS was a 6/1 chance for the A10 at 8-34 where despite finishing in 5th place the April 14 daughter of Blackstone Gene held every chance! Clocking 31.27 (-30) 30.97 calculated she was beaten just under three lengths by Knockalton Sox who is trained by Derek Knight.
CLOMANTAGH HOLLY was another newcomer to the Norah Mac kennel making her Hove debut last night! A 5/1 chance for the A11 at 8-51 the April 15 daughter of Mall Brandy ran on well to finish in 2nd place! Clocking 31.78 (-30) 31.48 calculated she was beaten just a ‘neck’ by the Paul Garland trained winner Marshals Kim.
DROOPYS TEQUILA was sent off the 9/4 joint-favourite for the A8 at 9-41 but the September 13 daughter of Droopys Scolari suffered crowding at the 3/4 mark and clocking 31.32 (-30) 31.02 calculated she finished in 5th place beaten four and a half lengths by Getreadytorumble who is trained by Claude Gardiner. PALACE QUEEN was our 5th kennel runner making a Hove debut last night! The February 14 daughter of Shaneboy Lee was a 7/1 chance but she was crowded at the 3rd bend! Clocking 31.43 (-30) 31.13 calc she finished in 6th place beaten just under six lengths by the winner.
CABRIOL ARAMIS was a 6/1 chance for the D1 Sprint at 9-57 but the May 14 daughter of Blonde Snapper was baulked at the 1st bend and finishing in 5th place she clocked 16.92 (-10) 16.82 calculated when beaten four lengths by Drive The Bend who is trained by Jason Heath. Kennel mate CASHONTHERUN was a 3/1 shot but the August 14 son of Colorful Champ lost his chance when ‘stumbling’ at the start! Clocking 17.10 (-10) 17.00 calculated he finished in 6th place beaten just over six lengths by the winner.
