Sunday 15th March 2015  –  HOVE Report

Swift Messi was a 7/1 shot for the D2 Sprint at 11-11 but a slow start and crowding at the first bend was to much for him to overcome and he was beaten five and a half lengths by the race winner Guinness Brave who is trained by Seamus Cahill. Swift Messi clocked 16.91 (-10) 16.81 calculated finishing in 6th place.

Windy Warrior was slow away in the A9 at 11-28 and he was further held up when baulked at the first bend. Our 3/1 chance finished in 5th place clocking 31.34 (-20) 31.14 calculated when beaten four and a half lengths by the Dean Childs trained winner Hugo The Boss.

Sizzlers Big Boy was slow away in the A8 Owners Bonus Series – Heat 2 at 12-27 and failed to qualify for the Final when finishing in 6th place! Sizzlers Big Boy clocked 31.56 (-20) 31.36 calculated when beaten seven and a half lengths by the Paul Garland trained winner Uthinklikeme.

The best efforts came from both Sizzlers Swallow and Ballymac Dainty who finished 2nd and 3rd respectively in the D2 Sprint at 1-12. They both stood every chance behind the race winner Due A Change who is trained by Ken Tester. Sizzlers Swallow finished in 2nd place clocking 16.83 (-10) 16.73 calculated beaten just over a length by the winner. Ballymac Dainty was a further length behind in 3rd place clocking 16.94 (-10) 16.84 calculated.
