Sunday 18th January 2015  –  HOVE Report

Watch Matt replaced the withdrawn Ballymac Chindit and was sent of a 20/1 shot for the D1 Sprint at 11-28. Crowding at the first bend cost him time and he finished in 5th place clocking 16.90 (-5) 16.85 calculated when beaten five lengths by the Derek Knight trained winner Somoud.

Monleek Diamond showed good early pace in the A5 at 12-12 but could not maintain the run and was beaten two lengths by the Dean Childs trained winner Bersheda Hawk. Monleek Diamond clocked 30.76 (-10) 30.66 calculated when finishing in 4th place.

Boskill Breeze was beaten four lengths in the A9 at 12-41 after running on late behind the Dean Childs trained winner Prim Everdeen. Boskill Breeze clocked 31.27 (-20) 31.07 calculated back in 4th place.

Lobelia was very slow away in the D2 Sprint at 12-58 and finished in 4th place behind the Ken Tester trained winner Stop And Go. Lobelia clocked 17.25 (-10) 17.15 calculated when beaten six and a half lengths by the winner. Kennel mate Castleview Madge was crowded and fell at the second bend and finished lame. She will be fully checked over on returning to the kennels.

Swift Debbie was crowded at the first bend in the A6 at 1-12 and was beaten just under three lengths by the Claude Gardiner trained winner Droopys Thunder. Swift Debbie clocked 30.93 (-20) 30.73 calculated finishing in 4th place. Kennel mate Cellini was sent off the 5/2 co-favourite of three but after showing good early pace she was baulked at the 3/4 mark and finished in 5th place clocking 31.00 (-20) 30.80 calculated just over three lengths behind the winner.

Intayacynthia was an 8/1 chance for the A8 at 1-28 and she clocked 31.51 (-20) 31.31 calculated in 6th place when finishing seven lengths behind the Dean Childs trained winner Curryhills Twink.
