Sunday 3rd September 2017  –  HOVE Report

PALACE QUEEN was sent off the 5/2 joint-favourite for the A10 at 11-28 but the February 14 daughter of Shaneboy Lee was slow away and crowded at the 4th bend! Clocking 31.69 (-40) 31.29 calculated she finished in 5th place beaten five lengths by the Tony Taylor trained winner Droopys Quintet.

SIZZLERS GUNBOAT was a 3/1 chance for the A5 at 12-27 where the September 15 son of Mall Brandy showed good early pace before fading to finish in 5th place! Clocking 31.05 (-20) 30.85 calculated he was beaten just over three lengths by Emerald Sky who is trained by Derek Knight.

BALLYSTEEN SKY was a 5/1 shot for the D3 Sprint at 12-41 but the January 16 son of Taylors Sky was slow away! Baulked at the 2nd bend he clocked 17.43 (-10) 17.33 calc when finishing in 6th place beaten just over four lengths by the Tony Taylor trained winner Aero Saffron.

3/1 co-favourite for the A6 at 12-58 OXTED FLYER was denied his chance when carried wide at the 4th bend! Clocking 31.05 (-20) 30.85 calculated the June 15 son of Droopys Cain finished in 5th place when beaten five lengths by Al Pawchino who is trained by Tony Taylor.

AFTER SHOCK was a 7/1 shot for the D2 Sprint at a 1-44 where the April 15 daughter of Superior Product held every chance and finishing in 3rd place she clocked 16.97 (-5) 16.92 calculated when beaten three and a half lengths by Eyed Lands Girl who is trained by Ken Tester. Kennel mate TIMBERLEE LAD was an 8/1 chance but badly baulked at the 1st bend the April 14 son of Blackstone Gene clocked 17.08 (-5) 17.03 calculated when finishing in 5th place beaten five lengths by the winner.

BALIBO MAGS was sent off the 5/2 joint-favourite for the A6 at 1-58 where the July 14 daughter of Razldazl Rioga owned by the Norah Mac Racing Mags syndicate led to the 3rd bend! Crowded at the 3/4 mark ‘Mags’ clocked 31.22 (-10) 31.12 calculated when finishing in 4th place beaten just over three lengths by the Jason Heath trained winner Bayliss Boy.
