WINNERS
RACING CLUB FAVOURITE ‘JACK’ WINS AGAIN!
INDEPENDENT JACK – his 14th win at Hove!
INDEPENDENT JACK flits between D1 and D2 grade but the August 13 son of Kinloch Brae owned by the Norah Mac Racing Club rarely runs a bad race! He finished 2nd beaten just a length by Allianz Park last Sunday and was sent off the 5/2 favourite for the D2 Sprint at 8-18. Despite suffering crowding at the 1st bend ‘Jack’ was still able to lead and keeping on well he beat the Ken Tester trained Grainnes Lady by two lengths! Clocking a decent 16.53 (Normal) Independent Jack was winning his 14th race at Hove and moved the Racing Club on to the 159 winner mark!

‘OXTED FLYER’ IS MAKING WINNING A HABIT!
OXTED FLYER always does his best work at the end of his races and running on strongly he beat Jems Bullet by a short-head earlier in the month! Finishing 3rd to Al Pawchino last Sunday the June 15 son of Droopys Cain was made a 5/2 chance for the A6 at 8-34. Again doing his best work in the closing stages he led at the 4th bend and staying on strongly he beat the Jason Heath trained Alien Actor by a length and a half! Owned by
Mr D. Barnett, Mr P. Erwood, Mr C. Richards and Mr D. Wilson Oxted Flyer clocked 30.78 (Normal) when winning for the 4th time at Hove!

How Our Other Runners Fared
ROSEGARLAND MOJO a winner over 480 metres at Waterford made her Hove debut in the A9 at 7-46 last night. Sent off a 3/1 chance the November 15 daughter of Scolari Me Daddy was never far off the pace despite being baulked at the 1st bend! Clocking 31.30 (Normal) she finished in 3rd place beaten just over three lengths by the Maria Collins trained winner Hold On Lily but ‘Mojo’ will improve for this experience.
AVIT ON DORIS finished in 6th place beaten six and a half lengths by Crossfield Jake last outing but the March 14 daughter of Shaneboy Spencer was still made 2/1 favourite for the A7 at 9-57. Showing good early pace she led to the run-in but was caught late on by Mairead Blue who is trained by Derek Knight. Finishing in 2nd place ‘Doris’ clocked 30.82 (Normal) when beaten just a length by the winner.
DERRYADD MARLEY was beaten eight lengths by Karens Room in D2 grade last Sunday but given a drop in grade for the D3 Sprint at 10-13 the August 15 daughter of Zero Ten was sent off the 7/4 favourite! Holding every chance ‘Marley’ clocked 17.01 (Normal) when finishing in 2nd place beaten just 3/4 of a length by the Jason Heath trained winner Fabulous Myth.
