THURSDAY HOVE REPORT
Thursday 6th July 2017 – HOVE Report
CABRIOL ARAMIS finished 3rd beaten just over three lengths by Wicket Taker on her last run and the May 14 daughter of Blonde Snapper owned by Mr W. H. Churchman was a 7/2 chance for Heat 2 of the HOVE THURSDAY 500 – MAIDEN SPRINT Open race at 7-01. Despite making a quick start she was baulked at the 1st bend and clocking 16.89 (+5) 16.94 calculated she finished in 5th place beaten six lengths by the Mark Wallis trained winner Zammos Bullet.
SPIDERMAN came in as ‘reserve’ to replace the withdrawn Brinkleys Ryan in the SIGN UP FOR CORAL CONNECT SPRINT Open race at 8-19. The June 14 son of Razldazl Jayfkay owned by Mr J. Ford had beaten Caras Rosie Jean by 1/2 a length on his latest outing and was sent off a 4/1 chance. Sadly he found ‘trouble’ in running and clocking 16.66 (+5) 16.71 calculated he finished in 3rd place beaten just over six lengths by the Seamus Cahill trained winner Jumeirah Maximus. Kennel mate OBEY THE RULES led all the way to beat Stellars Avenger by just over two lengths in a D1 Sprint on his last run and the November 13 son of Westmead Hawk owned by Dr H. Ngan was made a 14/1 shot! Slow away and baulked at the 1st bend he finished in 4th place clocking 16.75 (+5) 16.80 calc. when beaten seven and a half lengths by the winner.
