PLEASE SUPPORT KATE AND DONATE TO GREYHOUND WELFARE

Norah McEllistrim kennel girl Kate Aris will be jumping out of a light aircraft at 13,000 feet to raise funds for Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare. Kate will be plummeting to the ground at over 120 mph in a 50 second free-fall when she takes part in “Fall For Hounds” a charity parachuting fundraiser co-ordinated by Julie Collier for the Retired Greyhound Trust. The event will take place on the 16th June 2014 at an airfield near Peterborough.

Kate is hoping to raise £1,000 for Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare and has a ‘Justgiving’ page set up for anyone who is kind enough to sponsor her!

Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare is devoted to caring for retired racing greyhounds and finding them homes. They are self-funding and rely on the kindness and generosity of their kind supporters and the general public.

Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare care for approximately 80 – 100 greyhounds at their kennels in Turners Lane, Hersham with the majority coming from owners and trainers once their racing days are over. However , when necessary they will step in and help those less fortunate greyhounds who are at risk. They will take in all colours and personalities regardless of their homing chances.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate they will send your money directly to Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare.
