Puppy Big Guns Clash In

Hot Monmore Heat!

ROMEO BIG TIME, Southfield Jock and Leathams Desire, who have set the standard in qualifying trials for the competition, clash in a red-hot fifth heat of the Ladbrokes Puppy Derby over 480m at Monmore on Monday (2nd March) afternoon.

The £12,500 36-runner competition was oversubscribed with 64 entries prompting racing manager Tony Williamson to say: “It was a tough task to whittle the entry down to the 36 runners required due to the quality of the puppies entered.

“I’d like to apologise to any connections disappointed they didn’t get accepted for what again looks to be a great competition.”
