Two Go Through To ‘Dual Distance’ Final!
SIZZLERSCHEYENNE and CABRIOL ARAMIS QUALIFY FOR FINAL!
Sizzlerscheyenne and Cabriol Aramis both qualified from the Sprint Heats of the Hove Thursday Night 500 Dual Distance competition and will line up in next Thursday’s Final which will be run over 475 metres!

SIZZLERSCHEYENNE showed good early pace and led all the way to beat the Paul Young trained Bubbly Zeus by 3/4 of a length in the CORAL BACKS CHILDREN WITH CANCER 475 Open race on the 7th August! The August 12 son of Hondo Black clocked 27.88 calculated when winning his 15th race at Hove and was on a ‘hat-trick’ for a D1 Sprint on the 18th August. Sadly he found ‘trouble’ in running and clocked 16.83 calculated when finishing 4th beaten seven lengths by Swift Watson. Sizzlerscheyenne was a 5/2 chance for a D1 Sprint last Saturday where he ran on well to finish 2nd clocking 16.49 calculated when beaten just a ‘neck’ by the Paul Garland trained winner Portumna Socks. Sizzlerscheyenne was sent off 4/5 favourite for Heat 1 of the HOVE THURSDAY NIGHT 500 – DUAL DISTANCE Competition needing a first three finish to make the Final! He challenged strongly on the run-in but failed by a ‘short-head’ to peg back the Matt Dartnall trained winner Jacobs Pride. Owned by Dave & Joy Cook Sizzlerscheyenne clocked 16.60 calculated finishing in 2nd place!

CABRIOL ARAMIS clocked 16.65 calculated in a solo Sprint Trial on the 15th August and was made a 6/1 chance for his Hove debut in a D1 Sprint on the 20th August. Baulked at 1/2 way the May 14 son of Blonde Snapper owned by Mr W. H. Churchman clocked 16.99 calculated when finishing in 5th place beaten just over six lengths by Gem Master. He was a 16/1 chance for a D1 Sprint last Saturday night and after finding first bend trouble he clocked 16.96 calculated when finishing in 6th place beaten six lengths by Portumna Socks. The 25/1 outsider for Heat 2 of the HOVE THURSDAY NIGHT 500 – DUAL DISTANCE Competition he made sure of a place in the Final finishing an excellent 3rd! Despite suffering crowding on the run-in he clocked 16.51 calculated when beaten three and a half lengths by Swift Watson who is trained by Jason Heath. BALIBO MAGS stepped up to Open class for the first time in the THE MARK NOLLER 40TH BIRTHDAY STAKES at Romford on the 19th August. The July 14 daughter of Razldazl Rioga owned by the Norah Mac Racing Mags syndicate clocked 24.56 calculated when beaten four lengths by the impressive Crossfield James who is trained by Seamus Cahill. She was back at Romford last Friday night for Heat 1 of the CHAMPIONS NIGHT BITCHES Competition needing a first ‘three’ finish to make the Final. Sent off a 16/1 chance ‘Mags’ was forced to check on the run-up losing ground! She clocked 24.58 calculated when finishing in 5th place beaten five lengths by the top class Evanta Fantasy who is trained by Mark Wallis. A 14/1 chance last night she suffered crowding at the first bend and clocked 16.70 calculated when finishing 5th beaten six lengths by the winner. SIZZLERS APOLLO clocked 30.77 (Normal) when beating Glencorbry Cara by a short-head in A8 grade on the 14th August! The September 13 son of Droopys Scolari owned by Dave & Joy Cook was up in grade for an A7 on the 19th August and he followed up in fine style when beating Maireads Mist by six lengths! Sizzlers Apollo clocked a very impressive 30.28 calculated when winning his 7th race at Hove and was put up ‘two’ grades for an A5 last Thursday. Sent off the 5/2 favourite he led from the first bend to near the line when finishing 2nd to the Derek Knight trained winner Liosgarbh Andy. Clocking 30.73 calculated Sizzlers Apollo was beaten just over a length by the winner! 12/1 for last nights Heat he was baulked and forced to check at the first bend and clocked 16.80 calculated when finishing in 6th place beaten just over seven lengths by the winner.

FANORE BREEZE was a 7/2 chance for an A5 on the 24th August but she suffered crowding at the first and third bends and clocked 30.80 calculated when finishing in 5th place beaten just over five lengths by Daylens Volcano. The December 12 daughter of Crash was back in action for an A5 last Sunday. Sent off an 8/1 chance she was quick away but suffered crowding at the third bend and again on the run in! Clocking 30.77 calculated she finished in 5th place beaten three and a half lengths by Get On Amber and was given a drop in grade for the A6 at 7-16. Sent off the 9/4 favourite she broke well but faded to finish in 3rd place. Clocking 30.92 (-20) 30.72 calculated she was beaten just under five lengths by the Paul Garland trained winner Weathercockwalsh.
BALIBO RUBY suffered crowding after a slow start and clocked 30.88 calculated when finishing 5th beaten six lengths by Kirkpatrick Girl in A6 grade on the 20th August and she was given a drop in grade for an A7 last Sunday. The July 14 daughter of Razldazl Rioga owned by the Norah Mac Racing Ruby syndicate showed good pace to lead at the first bend and bolted five lengths clear down the back straight! Her stride started to shorten as she turned for home and she was caught right on the line by Romeo Bravo. Clocking 30.68 calculated ‘Ruby’ finished in 2nd place beaten just a ‘neck’ by the winner and she was made the 7/4 favourite for the A7 at 7-48. Showing good early pace she was always prominent but again had to settle for 2nd place! Clocking 31.00 (-20) 30.80 calculated ‘Ruby’ was beaten just over three lengths by the Jason Heath trained winner Albion Blue.
