Some notable kennel success on Thursday’s RPTV card and a very nice run from Leah (Memories Leah) in her A2 on Sunday.

We’ve managed to get a late booking to sponsor on this coming Saturday’s Brighton Owners Association night – thanks to Sheila Joel and the Coral team at the stadium for accommodating us.
Given the short notice we’ll be making do with a ‘gathering’ which will climax with our ‘Norahmac 200 winners Up’ Trophy Race -sponsored by the club. All club members are welcome to join in the presentation, the more the merrier. This race, celebrating our first 250 winners at Hove.
Club members Mick and Debbie will be getting their own trophy for Ballymac Sharon’s hat-trick last month, and are also sponsoring a race.

Wednesday’s Bags Card features two club stalwarts Lenny (Droopys Leonard) and Oscar (Lima Oscar) racing in what is their regular grade, A5 and A7, respectively.
Oscar kicks off in the 4.47pm – a line-up that again gives our lad every chance of gaining a podium position. In the 5.56pm Lenny secures the stripes and has a decent chance based on his creditable 30.30 clocking last week.
Thursday’s mixed Racing Post TV card provides a highlight for the club with our highly promising pup, Leah (Memories Leah), running in the Puppy Open at 9.06pm.
Our March ’11 bitch gets a red berth on the rails in a five runner heat. That said, she faces a couple of very sharp youngsters notably last week’s course winner Downton Flyer, and Islas Scolari who boasts a 28.65 intro trial around Wimbledon. Exciting times for the Norahmac Racing Club.
Saturday’s all-sponsored card has Wendy (Hanover Lady) on duty from the rails box in the D1 at 8.34pm. Our blue girl faces two kennel mates, amongst others, in a contest well within her compass.
In the 9.24pm, an A4, the rejuvenated Horse Outside also gets a red jacket in a contest that looks there for his taking should he secure a clear passage round the first bend. Anything around 4-1 looks tempting.
Lenny (Droopys Leonard) gets hit by a double penalty for his emphatic Wednesday victory, contesting the 11.42am, an A3, on Sunday’s Bags card!
Plenty of action at the weekend – try to get down on Saturday if you’re associated with the club, especially, for our trophy race and, hopefully, to pick up some silverware too courtesy of our club runners.
