Another Win For The In-Form Breeze!

FANORE BREEZE bounced back to winning ways when beating Liljaqs Girl by a neck in A8 grade on the 7th July! Showing good early pace she disputed the lead and led at the third bend clocking 30.63 (Normal) when winning her 9th race at Hove. The December 12 daughter of Crash was sent off the 7/1 outsider when up in grade for an A7 last Thursday! Quick away she led to the fourth bend where she found trouble! Badly baulked she dropped away to finish in 6th place clocking 31.10 calculated when beaten five and a half lengths by Clairekeith Sky. A 5/1 chance for the A7 at 3-07 today she got up near the line to beat the Seamus Cahill trained Dottie Belle by a short-head! Owned by Steve Keay Fanore Breeze clocked a decent 30.45 (Normal) when winning for the 10th time at Hove and has now won 4 of her last 7 races!

‘Spiderman’ Holds On In A Cracker!

SPIDERMAN was a 7/1 shot for a decent D1 Sprint on the 23rd June where he made a slow start and clocked 16.82 calculated when finishing in 5th place beaten seven lengths by Portumna Socks.  The June 14 son of Razldazl Jayfkay was 9/4 second-favourite for a D1 Sprint on the 8th July and he got back to winning ways showing good early pace he lead all the way when beating the Paul Garland pair Headford Poppy and Dalcash Jangle who dead-heated for 2nd place! Spiderman won by almost three lengths clocking a decent 16.55 (Normal) but was sent off the 7/1 outsider for the D1 Sprint at 3-48. Quick away he always led beating his kennel mate Sizzlerscheyenne by the shortest of short-heads! Owned by Mr J. Ford Spiderman clocked 16.54 (Normal) when winning his 6th race at Hove. SIZZLERSCHEYENNE clocked 27.32 calculated when finishing 5th beaten just over six lengths by the Ken Humphreys trained winner Slaneyside Pup in a Poole Open on the 14th June. The August 12 son of Hondo Black took a drop in class for a D1 Sprint on the 9th July but after suffering crowding at the second bend he could only manage 3rd place. Clocking 16.50 (Normal) he was beaten two lengths by Portumna Socks and was made 6/4 favourite today! Running on well he only just failed to peg back Spiderman and clocked 16.55 (Normal) in 2nd place!

Flackwell Shows Plenty Of Spirit!

FLACKWELL SPIRIT bolted up in A10 grade on the 22nd June leading all the way to beat Winetavern Spy by almost three lengths! The June 14 son of Taylors Sky clocked a decent 30.46 (Normal) and was put up ‘two’ grades for an A8 on the 29th June. A 7/1 chance he was quick away but suffered crowding and clocked 31.06 calculated when finishing 5th beaten almost seven lengths by Get On Lola. A 6/1 chance for an A8 on the 10th July he showed good early pace and led to near the line clocking 30.87 calculated when finishing 2nd beaten just a neck by Fifiatwelldigger and he was a 3/1 chance for today’s A8 at 4-27. Showing good early pace he led for most of the way when dead-heating for 1st place with the Richard Rees trained Jumeirah Tara. The pair finishing just a ‘head’ in front of the 3rd placed Beachfield Blitz. Owned by Steve Barton Flackwell Spirit clocked 30.87 (Normal) when winning his 3rd race at Hove!

2nd Hove Win for Timberlee Lass!

TIMBERLEE LASS

TIMBERLEE LASS clocked 31.61 (Normal) when 2nd to Ask Me Again in a 2-dog Trial over 515 metres on the 25th June. The April 14 daughter of Blackstone Gene was an 8/1 chance for an A11 on the 9th July on her return from seasonal rest. Baulked at the first bend after making a slow start she clocked 31.64 (Normal) when finishing 5th beaten just under nine lengths by Knockalton Zira. That run put her ‘straight’ and she returned to winning ways with success in the A11 at 4-47. A 7/1 chance she led on the run-in to beat the Maria Collins trained Redstar Hawk by a neck! Owned by Diane Benson & Norah McEllistrim Timberlee Lass clocked 31.77 (Normal) when winning for the 2nd time at Hove! Kennel mate BOSKILL BREEZE suffered first bend crowding and clocked 31.45 (Normal) when finishing 5th beaten just over four lengths by Confey Black in A11 grade on the 22nd June. The July 11 daughter of Kinloch Brae was a 4/1 chance for an A11 on the 29th June where she clocked 31.93 calculated when finishing in 6th place beaten eight lengths by Aint We Avinfun and was a 5/1 chance today. He held every chance and clocked 32.12 (Normal) when finishing in 6th place beaten just over four lengths by the winner.

‘Grace’ On The Mark For Racing Club!

LISTRY ACE was always handy and clocked 16.64 calculated when finishing 2nd beaten just under two lengths by Guinness Five in a D2 Sprint on the 29th June. The October 12 daughter of Kinloch Brae owned by the Norah Mac Racing Club was a 5/1 chance for a D2 Sprint on the 8th July where she was baulked on the run-in and clocked 16.86 (Normal) when finishing in 4th place beaten just under two lengths by Wicket Taker. 5/2 favourite for the D2 Sprint at 5-07 ‘Grace’ broke well and led all the way when beating the Paul Garland trained Forever Man by 3/4 of a length! Clocking 17.01 (Normal) Listry Ace was enjoying her 6th success for the Racing Club who now total 141 winners!

How Our Other Runners Fared

DROOPYS CYRIC beat Aero Velocity by 1/2 a length in an A6 on the 23rd June. The November 14 son of Tullymurry Act owned by the Norah Mac Racing Cyric syndicate clocked a very decent 30.33 calculated and was put up ‘two’ grades for an A4 on the 30th June! He finished 6th beaten just over six lengths by Artic Image  and was down in grade for an A5 on the 6th July. Finishing 4th beaten just over eight lengths by Rocket Shot he was a 5/1 chance for an A5 last Wednesday. Baulked at the first bend he clocked 31.05 calculated when finishing 5th beaten just over five lengths by Memyselfandi and he was a 6/1 chance for the A5 at 2-08. Keeping out wide he had a trouble free run but was unable to mount a challenge and finished in 6th place clocking 30.99 (Normal) when beaten just over six lengths by the Seamus Cahill trained winner Newinn Bucks.

GELERT THE GREAT led at the fourth bend when beating Drumcove Oscar by just over three lengths in A8 grade on the 30th June! Clocking 30.45 (Normal) the May 14 son of Westmead Hawk was winning for the 2nd time at Hove and was put up ‘two’ grades for an A6 on the 7th July! Finishing in 6th place he clocked 30.72 (Normal) when beaten just under six lengths by Droopys Noble and was a 4/1 chance for an A6 last Wednesday. Clocking 30.80 calculated after making a slow start he finished in 4th place beaten four lengths by Evanta Candyman. Sent off the 5/2 favourite for the A6 at 4-08 he was badly baulked at the first bend but he ran on well to finish in 4th place clocking 31.27 (Normal) when beaten just over three lengths by the Claude Gardiner trained winner Clairkeith Milly.

CELLINI ran a decent race in A6 grade on the 26th June when finishing 2nd to Slaheny Fontaine. Quick away she led to the run-in clocking 30.71 calculated when beaten just 3/4 of a length and was a 5/1 chance for an A6 on the 7th July. The January 11 daughter of Head Bound was quick away and led to the second bend keeping on well she finished in 2nd place clocking an impressive 30.39 (Normal) when beaten just under two lengths by Droopys Noble. She was quick away and led again in the A6 at 5-22 and although tiring late on she was a decent 4th clocking 31.02 (Normal) when beaten just 3/4 of a length by the Claude Gardiner trained winner Totally Magic.
