BALLYSTEEN SKY was beaten just over ten lengths by Gloria Golden last Friday but the January 16 son of Taylors Sky was made 3/1 joint-favourite for the A11 at 2-08. Although crowded at the 1st bend he made a strong challenge on the run-in and clocking 31.46 (Normal) finished in 3rd place beaten just 1/2 a length by the Jason Heath trained winner Ellaha Diamond.

OXTED FLYER stayed on strongly to beat Alien Actor by a length and a half last Saturday night and the June 15 son of Droopys Cain was made an 8/1 chance up in grade for the A5 at 2-47. Unable to recover from a slow start he clocked 30.82 (Normal) when finishing in 4th place beaten six lengths by Romeo Speedster who is trained by Jason Heath.

TIMBERLEE LAD could only manage 4th place clocking 17.11 (Normal) when beaten five and a half lengths by Anelda last Thursday and the April 14 son of Blackstone Gene was sent off a 4/1 shot for the D3 Sprint at 3-07. Holding every chance ‘Woody’ finished in 4th place clocking 17.04 (Normal) when beaten just under four lengths by the Jason Heath trained winner Two Doves.

OBEY THE RULES was beaten just over seven lengths by Cloheena Layla last Saturday and the November 13 son of Westmead Hawk was made a 4/1 chance for the A6 at 4-47. Despite suffering crowding as he challenged at the 3rd bend he clocked 30.93 (-20) 30.73 calculated when finishing in 2nd place beaten just a length by Aegean Razl who is trained by Richard Rees.

BALIBO BONNIE failed by a ‘short-head’ to peg back Warnham Ruby last Wednesday and the January 16 daughter of Tullymurry Act owned by the Norah Mac Racing Club was a 3/1 chance for the D3 Sprint at 5-22. Racing very wide on the run-in ‘Bonnie’ clocked 17.21 (-10) 17.11 calculated when finishing in 3rd place beaten two lengths by the Tony Taylor trained winner Mercury Dream.

BALIBO MAGS led all the way only to get caught on the line by Smooth Brandy last Friday and sadly it was the same story again today for the July 14 daughter of Razldazl Rioga who is owned by the Norah Mac Racing Mags syndicate. A 9/4 fancy for the A7 at 5-38 ‘Mags’ was quick away and led to near the line! Clocking 31.07 (-20) 30.87 calculated she finished in 2nd place when beaten a length by Liosgarbh Andy who is trained by Derek Knight.
DROOPYS ROXY was withdrawn (Off-Colour) from this race and the September 15 daughter of Tullymurry Act was a non-runner today.
