CHAIN LIGHTING – his 8th win at Hove!

In-form CHAIN LIGHTING led on the run-in when beating the Alma Keppie trained Creamery Duke by 3/4 of a length in a HOVE MAIDEN Open Race over 490 metres on the 28th March! He found ‘trouble’ in running when a close 3rd to Shotgun Express before beating the Maria Collins trained Comenzo Skyline by just over three lengths in A4 grade on the 17th April. Making it three wins from his last five races the June 16 son of Droopys Jet was a winner again today! Sent off 9/4 favourite for the B1 at 3-11 he was quick away and always led. Keeping on well he beat the Jason Heath trained Kesboro Arlo by a Head! Owned by Jonathan Muller and Norah McEllistrim ‘Chain Lighting’ clocked 28.79 (Normal) when winning for the 8th time at Hove!

A1 WIN FOR DROOPYS VALLEY!

The improving DROOPYS VALLEY stayed on well to beat the Maria Collins trained Comenzo Skyline by a length in A3 grade on the 15th March and up in grade for an A2 a week later the October 16 son of Aero Majestic followed up in grand style! Leading at the 3rd bend he strode away to beat the Seamus Cahill trained Ten More by almost three lengths! Sent off a 7/2 chance for today’s A1 at 5-28 he led at the 3rd bend and stayed on well to beat the Jason Heath trained Forest Capri by three lengths! Owned by Brian Harrison ‘Droopys Valley’ clocked 30.46 (Normal) when winning his 7th race at Hove!

SHOWBOAT ANNIE suffered crowding at the 1st bend in the B2 at 5-44 and clocking 29.72 (Normal) she finished in 3rd place beaten just over eight lengths by Get On Lucy.
