IT’S A WEDNESDAY BLANK AT HOVE FOR TEAM MAC!
After the thrills and excitement of Kate’s sky dive on Monday the kennel came back down to earth with a bump on Wednesday and drew at blank on the afternoon Hove BAGS card!
Wednesday 18th June HOVE Report
Glenvale Rosie was 2nd last time out but didn’t run up to that form in the A9 at 2-08. She showed good early pace and led from the first bend to the 3/4 mark before being crowded at the fourth bend. ‘Rosie’ clocked 31.34 (+10) 31.44 calculated when beaten six and a half lengths by Brer Wolf who is trained by Doreen Walsh.
Westmead Louisa had showed a return to form in her last few races and wasn’t totally disgraced in the A11 at 2-27 where she was beaten four and a half lengths by the Claude Gardiner trained winner Crohane Flyer. ‘Louisa’ clocked 31.17 (+10) 31.27 calculated after making a slow start!
Swift Messi has been in great form all year but has not been at his best on his last two runs. He led from the second bend to the third in the A6 at 2-42 but was baulked at the fourth bend and clocked 31.16 (+10) 31.26 calculated when 5th beaten ten lengths by the Paul Garland trained winner High Hawk.
Horse Outside was given a chance in the A8 at 3-02 when dropped in grade and he almost cashed in but was denied by a short head! ‘Gino’ clocked 30.58 (+10) 30.68 calculated when leading from the third bend to near the line when runner-up to Ken Tester’s winner Swift Miranda.
Droopys Leonard didn’t show his best form in the A5 at 3-37 and was beaten nine lengths by Clairkeith Grace who is trained by Claude Gardiner. ‘Lenny clocked 30.82 (+10) 30.92 calculated when finishing in 5th place.
Intayacynthia had finished runner-up in her last two runs and she filled that spot again today! After being crowded at the first bend in the A6 at 4-33 she recovered to be beaten one and three quarter lengths by the Claude Gardiner trained winner Baran Seattle clocking 30.59 (+10) 30.69 calculated.
Droopys Margaret found trouble in running again today in the A4 at 4-49 and was beaten five lengths by Murlens Stout who is trained by Wayne Wrighting. ‘Margaret’ clocked 30.61 (+10) 30.71 calculated in 6th place.
Sizzlers Magpie ran on well in the D2 at 5-08 when beaten just a head by the Seamus Cahill trained winner Guinness Master. She clocked 16.76 (+5) 16.81 calculated after being baulked at the first bend! Kennel mate On Your Lonesome performed better than of late when 4th beaten two lengths! He was quick away but baulked at the first bend and clocked 16.91 (+5) 16.96 calculated.
Lobelia was baulked and crowded in the A5 at 5-27 and hence her chance was gone. She clocked 30.69 (+10) 30.79 calculated when finishing 3rd six and a half lengths behind the Doreen Walsh trained winner Old Steine.
Collinstown View was slow away but ran on well in the A3 at 5-44 clocking a decent 30.27 (+10) 30.37 calculated. He was beaten two lengths when 3rd to the Derek Knight trained winner Our Boy George. Athlacca Olympic just does not get any luck and was baulked at the first bend when beaten four lengths in 5th place clocking 30.43 (+10) 30.53 calculated.

Friday 20th June HOVE Runners
Zara Two has got bags of early pace and showing improvement with each run after injury. A winner last time out he should run well in the D1 at 11-11.
Classy Molly clocked a good time when finishing 3rd on her latest run. Swift Debbie often leads up but is prone to being caught by a finisher! Both runners line up in the A5 at 11-28.
It’s best to forget the last run of Sporting Tracey as she totally missed her break! She was in great form previous and a two week rest should have her spot on for the A2 12-12.
Shyan Zippy ran well on her return from injury when 2nd last Thursday. She should go well in the A9 at 12-42.
Coolscart Hawk is put up a grade in the A6 at 12-58 after his win last Wednesday.
The youngster Fine Royal found trouble during his latest run. He is still learning but looks useful and could run well in the A5 at 1-27.
Graiguenoe Royal was in good form until badly baulked on his latest outing. Connections will be hoping for a clear passage in the A7 at 1-44.
Sizzlers Big Boy was in good form till he missed his break last time out. A better start could see him involved in the A7 at 1-58.
