WEDNESDAY HOVE REPORT
Wednesday 22nd March 2017 – HOVE Report
INDEPENDENT JACK was a 4/1 chance for the D2 Sprint at 2-47 but sadly he suffered crowding at 1/2 way! The August 13 son of Kinloch Brae owned by the Norah Mac Racing Club clocked 16.75 (Normal) when finishing in 3rd place beaten three lengths by the Jason Heath trained winner Ballymac Rian.
Returning after injury ASSERT was sent off a 7/1 chance for the A7 at 3-07. Baulked at the 1st bend and also at the 3/4 mark the July 14 son of Skywalker Ace clocked 31.15 (Normal) when finishing in 4th place beaten two and a half lengths by Dance Daniella who is trained by Jason Heath. AVIT ON DORIS was a 6/1 chance but the March 14 daughter of Shaneboy Spencer was baulked at the 1st bend and crowded at the 2nd! Clocking 31.25 (Normal) she finished in 6th place beaten just under four lengths by the winner.
MANNIX MOLAURA was the 7/4 favourite for the D3 Sprint at 3-48 but the September 15 daughter of Scolari Me Daddy was slow away and clocking 17.02 (Normal) she finished in 5th place beaten three lengths by the Tony Taylor trained winner Dianes Smiler.
DROOPYS LUNAR was sent off a 4/1 chance for the A8 at 4-08 where the November 13 daughter of Droopys Cain suffered crowding at the 2nd bend! Clocking 31.20 (Normal) she finished in 5th place beaten seven and a half lengths by Kimiko who is trained by Derek Knight.
CABRIOL ARAMIS was a 7/1 chance for the D1 Sprint at 5-07 but the May 14 son of Blonde Snapper was crowded at the 1st bend after making a slow start! Clocking 16.74 (Normal) he finished in 5th place beaten just over four lengths by Droopys Shona who is trained by Jason Heath. Kennel mate FLACKWELL SPIRIT was also a 7/1 shot and the June 14 son of Taylors Sky also found ‘trouble’ in running! Baulked at the 1st bend he finished in 6th place clocking 16.83 (Normal) when beaten just over five lengths by the winner.
