WEDNESDAY HOVE REPORT
Wednesday 29th November 2017 – HOVE Report
HYNESS MILL was sent off an 8/1 chance for the D2 Sprint at 4-47 where the September 14 son of Droopys Jet suffered 1st bend crowding after making a quick start! Despite the hold up ‘Ron’ clocked 17.05 (-5) 17.00 calculated when finishing in 3rd place beaten just over a length by race winner Droopys Mojo who is trained by Jason Heath. Kennel mate SUMMERVILLE KATE was the 5/2 favourite but the July 15 daughter of Forest Master owned by the Norah Mac Racing Club was slow away and baulked at the 1st bend! Clocking 17.17 (-5) 17.12 calculated ‘Summer’ finished in 5th place beaten just under three lengths by the winner.
DATA OLLY was a 3/1 shot for the A11 at 5-22 but the June 13 son of Head Bound was crowded at the 1st bend after making a slow start. Finishing in 5th place he clocked 31.64 (-10) 31.54 calculated when beaten just under three lengths by the Doreen Walsh trained winner Canvas Bond.
BALLYSTEEN SKY was a 9/4 fancy for the A11 at 5-38 and although baulked at the 2nd bend the January 16 son of Taylors Sky still managed to finish in 2nd place! Clocking 31.87 (-10) 31.77 calculated he was beaten just under four lengths by Song Of Tara who is trained by Maria Collins. CLOMANTAGH HOLLY was a 3/1 chance but the April 15 daughter of Mall Brandy found ‘trouble’ in running! Crowded at the 1/4 mark and again at the 3/4 mark she clocked 32.57 (-10) 32.47 calculated when finishing in 6th place beaten twelve lengths by the winner.
