BABY GOLD

BABY GOLD was given a drop in grade for an A7 on the 10th September and she took full advantage when leading all the way to beat Honeygar Jade by a length and a half! The February 13 daughter of Droopys Scolari clocked 30.50 calculated when winning her 8th race at Hove and was up in grade last Friday! Sent off a 10/1 shot she found trouble in running and clocked 31.11 (Normal) when finishing in 6th place beaten seven lengths by Free Passage. She now lines up in the A6 at 2-08.

SIZZLERS SIMBA clocked 17.08 calculated when beating Droopys Relax in a 3-dog Sprint Trial on the 5th September. She clocked 17.11 (Normal) when beating Avit On Doris in a 3-dog Sprint Trial on the 12th September and was a 5/2 chance for her Hove debut in a D3 Sprint last Saturday night! Badly baulked at the first bend the January 15 daughter of Farloe Barracuda clocked 17.63 (Normal) when finishing in 6th place beaten just over five lengths by Drumcove Jar Jar. Sizzlers Simba will try her luck again in the D3 Sprint at 3-07.

LISTRY ACE was given a drop in grade for an A9 on the 8th September and took full advantage when leading all the way to beat Risky Roisin by a length! Clocking 30.98 (Normal) the October 12 daughter of Kinloch Brae owned by the Norah Mac Racing Club  was winning her 7th race for the ‘Club’ and she was up in grade for an A8 on the 14th September. Always prominent she clocked 31.12 (Normal) when finishing in 3rd place beaten just over two lengths by Westberry Memoir and ‘Grace’ is back in action for the A8 at 3-48.

MARYS BOY was slow away and clocked 16.76 (Normal) when finishing 4th beaten just over a length by Guinness Solo in a D2 Sprint on the 14th September. The June 14 son of Razldazl Jayfkay   was a 6/1 chance for a D2 Sprint last Saturday and despite being baulked at the first bend he managed to finish in 2nd place clocking 16.81 (Normal) when beaten two lengths by Droopys Cairo. Marys Boy runs in the D2 Sprint at 5-22.

BALIBO RUBY

BALIBO RUBY was 2/1 favourite for an A7 on the 11th September but she was bumped at the first bend and clocked 30.99 (Normal) when finishing 5th beaten four lengths by Guinness Five. The July 14 daughter of Razldazl Rioga owned by the Norah Mac Racing Ruby syndicate was a 3/1 chance for an A7 last Friday but she suffered crowding at the second bend. She was also baulked at the 3/4 mark and clocked 31.41 (Normal) when finishing 6th beaten just over eight lengths by Swift Cleopatra. ‘Ruby’ will be hoping for a change of luck in the A7 at 5-38.

TIMBERLEE LASS

TIMBERLEE LASS was the 10/1 outsider for an A10 on the 9th September where she dead-heated for 5th place after suffering crowding on the run-in! Clocking 31.27 calculated she was beaten just under four lengths by Get On Carly and was a 9/2 chance for an A10 last Friday. Although baulked at the first bend the April 14 daughter of Blackstone Gene put in a brave effort to finish 2nd to Bens The Best. Clocking 31.20 (Normal) Timberlee Lass was beaten just a ‘neck’ by the winner and now lines up for the A10 at 5-56.

KILCOMMON showed good early pace in an A9 on the 14th September and led to the run-in clocking 31.33 (Normal) when finishing 3rd beaten just under two lengths by Punk Rock Girl.  The August 13 son of Vans Escalade was a 4/1 chance for an A9 last Sunday but was unable to dominate from the front and suffering crowding from the third to the fourth bend he clocked 31.64 (Normal) when finishing in 6th place beaten seven lengths by Warnham Star. Kilcommon runs in the A9 at 6-44.

ANOTHER ME had last tasted victory in A2 grade on the 3rd March clocking 30.75 calculated when beating Maireads Jett by just over a length! He was off the track for two months through injury and only returned to race action mid-August. He recently clocked 30.74 (Normal) when 5th beaten just under two lengths by Baran Mourinho in A3 grade on the 8th September. The February 14 son of Shaneboy Lee was a 7/2 chance for an A3 on the 14th September where he was the winner everywhere bar the line! Quick away he was clear down the back straight! He led on the run-in but was caught right on the line by the fast finishing Guinness Moon. ‘Monty’ clocked a very decent 30.28 (Normal) finishing in 2nd place beaten just a neck by the winner and was sent off the 6/4 favourite for an A3 last Saturday night. Showing good early pace he led at the first bend and this time he held on to beat Sporting Falcao by a short-head! Owned by Mrs C. J. Vogt  & Mr P. J. Vogt Another Me clocked 30.24 (Normal) when winning for the 9th time at Hove and steps up to Open company for Heat 1 of the HOVE THURSDAY NIGHT 500 – MAIDEN 475 competition where a first three finish would see him qualify for next Thursday’s Final!

SIZZLERS DIAMOND clocked 30.59 calculated when finishing 2nd beaten three and a half lengths by Slaheny King in A1 grade on the 27th August. The March 14 son of Head Bound was given a drop in grade for an A2 on the 2nd September where he was sent off the 9/4 favourite! Baulked at the first bend after making a slow start he clocked 30.58 calculated when finishing 3rd beaten seven and a half lengths by Guinness Four. He was back on song for an A2 on the 10th September where he made a slow start and suffered crowding at the third bend but still clocked a very decent 30.28 calculated when finishing 2nd beaten just a length by Cork Falcon. Owned by Dave Cook & Dave Staddon Sizzlers Diamond is back in Open company for Heat 2 of the HOVE THURSDAY NIGHT 500 – MAIDEN 475 competition where a first three finish would see him qualify for next Thursday’s Final!

TIP TOP TARA was 2/1 favourite on her return from injury for a D2 Sprint on the 11th September and leading all the way she clocked 16.49 (Normal) when beating Droopys Postie by two and a half lengths! The June 14 daughter of Paradise Madison was winning her 5th race at Hove and was sent off 6/4 favourite when up in grade for a D1 Sprint last Sunday! Prominent early she was baulked at the first bend and again at 1/2 way! Clocking 16.92 calculated she finished in 4th place beaten just under six lengths by Wicket Taker  and lines up for the D1 Sprint a 9-07 with kennel mate OBEY THE RULES who clocked 16.52 calculated behind Oo Wants It in a Sprint Trial at Central Park on the 4th September and was a 5/1 shot for a HOVE MAIDEN SPRINT Open race on the 8th September. The November 13 son of Westmead Hawk held on well to beat Swift Banzai by a neck! Clocking 16.53 (Normal) Obey The Rules was winning for the 3rd time at Hove and was a 3/1 chance for a D1 Sprint last Friday. He broke well but was baulked at the first bend and clocked 16.98 (Normal) when finishing in 5th place beaten just over four lengths by Sizzlerscheyenne.
