Woody (Fleetwood Rocker) showed he is well on the way to recovery with a very respectable 29.25 in a trial on Friday evening. He didn’t have a completely clear passage and is open to further improvement.  Norah hopes to have him back hurdling very soon.

Wendy (Hanover Lady) put in a creditable effort on Friday, finishing third in a race won by kennel companion (and club member owned!), Wayward Rhian.

Gino (Horse Outside) ran a cracker, failing to catch the highly touted and much vaunted King Eddy by a diminishing three quarters of a length, on Saturday. This run shows Gino’s continued progress and his time, 29.24, was very reasonable given traffic problems in the race.

There are now just a handful of seats left for the Big Night Out so, if you want to join our jamboree, this is the last chance to be with us in the restaurant – at least with food in front of you!
